The season of Advent begins next week, and with it, a new series called Coming Home. Here’s the series outline: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WM6ckBAZFd4paYQ7s9408c9qmBX66xO_/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=100562178917712953587&rtpof=true&sd=true

On Christmas Eve, we will host one service at 6:00PM for all ages, featuring the best of our Christmas traditions. Any children ages 3-10 are encouraged to be a part of the kids carols, and can contact Jannalee Wilson ([email protected]) to join in practicing in the coming weeks.

  • On December 6th, the 55+ group invites everyone to a Christmas Lunch. This will be a full turkey dinner followed by Christmas Carol singing and visiting. Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available to be purchased either through the church office or on Sunday mornings in the foyer.
  • Our MB Seminary produces a daily devotional series each Advent called As We Wait. You can sign up to receive these devotionals here: https://www.mbseminary.ca/navigate/devotions/#testimonial

Service in Mission

  • This Sunday, you can see our cool new bins in the foyer, positioned for ongoing mission project collections. You’ll also note that our next mission giving project is underway, collecting items for residents at Madison House. This annual initiative is something that their community looks forward to each year. We encourage you to drop off any of the following items at the church prior to December 4th:

    • Socks
    • Hand soap
    • Combs
    • Face cloths
    • Deodorant
    • Monetary donations to buy more supplies

We are also inviting kids and youth to contribute Christmas greeting cards that we can share with Madison House residents, and our Harvest Food Bank clients.
