Weekly Summer Service

Our next weekly service will be Sunday, August 13 at 10 a.m. Andrew Dyck, Assistant Professor of Christian Spirituality and Pastoral Ministry at CMU, will be speaking on The Hard Sayings of Jesus: Financial Planning, from Luke 16:1-15. There will be no Sunday service on August 6.

Condolences to Ike Doerksen

Our condolences to Ike Doerksen on the passing of his wife Tina at Donwood Personal Care Home on August 1. They had been married for 77 years and she passed away suddenly with Ike by her side. Let’s pray for Ike and his family as they grieve her passing. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Praying for Kids Going to Camp

Let’s continue to pray for the 16 kids as they prepare to go to Camp Arnes August 14-19. Prayer cards with their names and ages are available at the camp table near the mailboxes.

Sound Training & Service Opportunity

Interested in learning more about our sound system? You are invited to join in two training sessions: Tuesday, August 8 and Wednesday, August 16, 7-9 p.m. Further one-on-one training will be available. Please contact Anne if you are interested.

First Annual McIvor Garden Tour – Wednesday, 10 a.m.

Join us for our first McIvor Garden Tour on Wednesday. We will meet at Church at 10 a.m. and we will proceed to visit ten gardens belonging to fellow McIvor family members, followed by tea at Rodney’s house. Contact Tamira if you would like to attend.

B-Side Apostles Concert – September 1, 1:30 p.m.

The 55+ Walk & Talk Group will welcome back the B-Side Apostles for an afternoon concert with cake and coffee. There will be a $5 charge, please RSVP with the church office.
