Sunday at 10 a.m. Pastor Mikayla will be speaking on Philemon: A Slave Transformed from Philemon 1:1-25. Sunday School for ages 4-14 will follow the service.

The supportive help in ushering, set up and clean up, and food service was much appreciated. Your acts of kindness have shown us we are not alone in our sorrow, and for that, we are grateful.”

Our Condolences and Prayers to the families of:

Olga Regehr – Olga, who was a charter member of McIvor, passed away peacefully at the Bethania Personal Care Home on Saturday, January 13. She is the aunt of Ron and Irene Dyck, and mother to Dorothy (Dave) Schwab and Norilynn (Ed) Epp who are former attenders at McIvor. The funeral was held on Monday, January 22 at Friend’s Funeral Service. Watch the funeral or read her obituary.

Mary Fehr – Mary, beloved wife of the late John J. Fehr and longtime member of McIvor, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, at the age of 98. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 27 at 11am at McIvor Church, with a reception to follow. Read her obituary.

Gertrude Thielmann – Gertrude passed away at the hospital the evening of January 17. Her celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 23 at 11am at Friends Funeral Chapel. Watch the livestream or read her obituary.

The Discernment Team is asking that you take time to pray for God’s guidance in calling additional leaders for the Church Council at McIvor. Please pray about this and return your ballots to the Discernment Team by January 28.
