Our weekly service Sunday, July 16 at 10 a.m. includes a sermon by Pastor Scott, The Hard Sayings of Jesus: Calling All Sinners! He will be speaking on Mark 2:13-17.

Church Alarm Codes

We are working to set up a meeting with the security company to enter new alarm codes. As this is still pending, your old code will continue to work until we get the new codes set up. 

We will let you know when this has been finished and the new codes activated. Thanks for your patience!

If you are in need of an alarm code, please register with the church office and a new one will be assigned to you.

Practical Love, Support and Prayer

Let’s continue to pray for Elizabeth and Katia as they recover and heal from surgery.

Sending 16 Kids to Camp!

We did it! We’ve raised enough money and gathered enough sleeping bags and beach towels to support 16 kids in going to Camp Arnes this summer, August 14-19. 

As a way of supporting these kids before camp and while they are there, we are offering prayer cards, available at the camp table in the foyer. Each card has the first name and age of a camper. Please pick one up and pray for that child throughout the summer, as they look forward to a brand new camp experience.

First Annual McIvor Garden Tour – August 9 10 a.m.

We are planning our first annual Garden Tour! On August 9, we will meet at McIvor Church at 10 a.m. and we will proceed to visit various gardens belonging to fellow McIvor family members. At the end, we will have tea at Rodney’s house.

Singing Our Journey “Saengerfest” – July 15 7 p.m.

Centenary of the Russlaender Immigration to Canada of the 1920s – A traditional Mennonite songfest, featuring choirs and soloists presenting songs from the church choir repertoire throughout the past 100 years. Tickets are complimentary and in high demand and must be selected in advance from the Centennial Concert Hall Box Office.

B-Side Apostles Concert – September 1 (afternoon)

Mark your calendars, on September 1, the 55+ Walk & Talk Group will welcome back the B-Side Apostles for an afternoon concert with cake and coffee. There will be a $5 charge, please sign up through the church office.
