Our service Thursday, August 3 at 7 p.m. includes a sermon by Pastor Kim, The Hard Sayings of Jesus: The Sabbath is for People. She will be speaking on Mark 2:23-3:6.

Summer Service Reminder

Our next weekly service will be held this Thursday at 7 p.m. followed by refreshments and time for connection. There will be no service on Sunday, August 6.

Praying for Kids Going to Camp

We are supporting 16 children in going to Camp Arnes this summer, August 14-19. Let’s pray for them as they prepare for and experience God’s creation and His amazing love for them! Prayer cards with the kids’ names and ages are available at the camp table near the mailboxes.

The Future of Kids and Youth Ministry at McIvor

Anyone interested in a discussion about kids and youth ministry at McIvor is welcome to join a discussion after church on Thursday, August 3 in the overflow area. As we move into the fall, we want to discuss ways that we can provide meaningful ministry to the youngest ones in our church family, children and youth. Whether you are already involved, have been, or might like to be, please come out for this important discussion. Your attendance does not mean that you are committing to being involved. Sound Training & Service Opportunity

We are blessed with the addition of Max Wiebe to our staff this summer as our Service Production Coordinator. He is well-versed and is offering a workshop in August to equip and develop our sound and livestream volunteers. Please contact Anne if you are interested.

First Annual McIvor Garden Tour – August 9, 10 a.m.

We are planning our first annual Garden Tour! On August 9, we will meet at McIvor Church at 10 a.m. and we will proceed to visit various gardens belonging to fellow McIvor family members. At the end, we will have tea at Rodney’s house. Contact Tamira if you would like to have your garden on the tour.

B-Side Apostles Concert – September 1, 1:30 p.m.

The 55+ Walk & Talk Group will welcome back the B-Side Apostles for an afternoon concert with cake and coffee. There will be a $5 charge. Please RSVP with the church office.
