Sunday at 10 a.m. Pastor Jon will give the message Content In All Circumstances on Philippians 4:10-23, the last of our 8-part series on Philippians. It is Promotion Sunday and we will celebrate with our Sunday School Kids and graduates!

Prayer Focus: Praying Paul’s Prayers

May we always be full of joy in the Lord, taking pleasure in Him. Let’s rejoice, remembering that the Lord is coming soon! May others see that we are considerate in all things. 

May we not worry about anything, but pray about everything–every circumstance and situation, telling God what we need and thanking Him for all He has done. May we experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand and reassures our hearts. May His peace guard our hearts and minds as we live in Christ Jesus.

May we fix our thoughts on what is true, and honourable and worthy of respect, and right and confirmed by God’s word, and pure and wholesome, and lovely, and admirable. Whatever is excellent and worthy of praise, may we think continually on these things and implant them in our hearts. (from Philippians 4:4-8)

Promotion Sunday – June 23, 10 a.m.

Next Sunday we want to celebrate with our Sunday School kids and graduates. If you know of someone in the congregation who has graduated from any level of schooling, please contact the office so that we can include them in this celebration.

Summer Worship Schedule

Mark your calendars! Our summer worship services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of three weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before: June 27, August 1 and August 29. This means no Sunday services on June 30, August 4 and September 1. 

Help Send Newcomer Kids to Camp

The McIvor Missions Committee invites you to help send 14-16 newcomer children to Camp Arnes for the week of July 8-15. We are accepting gently used sleeping bags, new beach towels and water bottles. Financial donations may be designated “Campership Fund”. Prayer cards are available in the foyer. For details please contact Colleen in the office.

McIvor Year End BBQ – June 27, 5:30 p.m.

All are welcome to our Year End BBQ to celebrate the end of the school year, the wrap up of our Midweek Kids Club and our Youth Program, and show appreciation for all our volunteers!

Youth Thursday Worship Service – June 27, 7 p.m.

This service will be focused on the kids in our youth program, many of whom do not regularly attend McIvor. We will feature the youth in a variety of ways and talk about what we’ve been learning. They are very excited to be involved in this service! Please come and encourage the youth of our church and community.

Meet and Greet with our Pastors – July 3 between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Since we have a new pastor, we invite you to join the pastors for coffee on Wednesday, July 3 at the church. Come and go between 1:30pm-3:30pm. There is no agenda, just an opportunity to connect.  

Sign Up for the 2nd Annual McIvor Garden Tour – July 6, 10 a.m.

Our 2nd annual McIvor Garden Tour will take place July 6 at 10 a.m. Sign up here or in the foyer to include your garden on the tour and/or to participate in the tour. We can accommodate up to 8-10 gardens.
