Weekly Service

Our weekly service Thursday, June 29 at 7 p.m. includes a sermon by Pastor Scott entitled, The Hard Sayings of Jesus: Introduction – Saltless Salt. He will be speaking on Mark 4:10-12 and Luke 14:34-35. Refreshments will follow.

Summer Services

Our first summer service will be held this Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by refreshments. Most of our summer services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of three weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before the weekend: June 29, August 3 and August 31. This means no Sunday services on July 2, August 6 and Sept. 3. 

Church Alarm Codes

For all of those who currently have a church key and an alarm code please note that all alarm codes will be deleted and we will be starting fresh with new codes for those who currently have one and who still require one. If you are in need of an alarm code, please register with the church office by July 9th and a new one will be assigned to you.

Practical Love, Support and Prayer

Please continue to pray for Elizabeth and Katia as they recover and heal from surgery this week.

As friends, family and community, we would like to support Katia and Neil in this challenging season by providing meals over the course of a few weeks. Please consider signing up for a meal to support them.

Help Send Kids to Camp Arnes

We have a wonderful opportunity to help send children to camp to experience the wonders of God’s creation and His great love for them. We are still looking for donations such as gently used beach towels, pillows, mosquito spray and water bottles. Please see the display in the front foyer and contact Colleen for more details.

Security People Needed

The church gets rental requests quite often and all of these rentals require a security person. We need people who are willing to do church security for these rentals. Security people are paid $20 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. If you are interested, please contact the church office for more information.

Singing Our Journey “Saengerfest” – July 15 7 p.m.

Centenary of the Russlaender Immigration to Canada of the 1920s – A traditional Mennonite songfest, featuring choirs and soloists presenting songs from the church choir repertoire throughout the past 100 years. Tickets are complimentary and in high demand and must be selected in advance from the Centennial Concert Hall Box Office.

B-Side Apostles Concert – September 1 (afternoon)

Mark your calendars, on September 1, the 55+ Walk & Talk Group will welcome back the B-Side Apostles for an afternoon concert with cake and coffee. There will be a $5 charge, please sign up through the church office.
