Weekly Worship Service

Sunday at 10 a.m. our new Teaching Pastor, Jon Klassen, will give the message on our 8-part series on Philippians 3:7-21 entitled Press On. We will also have a time of prayer for Jon and his family as he begins ministry at McIvor. There will be cake and coffee following the service as we welcome the Klassen family.

Children ages 4-14 are invited to join us for Sunday School after the service.

A big thank you to Tamira and her volunteers for organizing the first McIvor Hobby Show! It was a wonderful afternoon and a great opportunity to get to know each other a little better and continue building community.

Worship Team Opportunity – Tech Team

Would you like to be part of the McIvor Tech Team? Isaac will be giving a training session on June 11 at 7 p.m. at the church. Please contact the office if you are interested in learning to operate the visual components of our services.

Kids Ministry Opportunity

We are reaching children and youth in our church and the surrounding community in many different ways. As these ministries grow, we need to plan for the fall and we need more people to be part of the planning! As a church we need to pray for the future of the family ministry activities and the significance that they have in the lives and spiritual formation of families. If you are interested in being part of a conversation about family ministry, please contact Pastor Mikayla. A meeting of interested people will be held soon.

Promotion Sunday – June 23, 10 a.m.

On June 23 at 10 a.m. we want to celebrate with our Sunday School kids and graduates. If you know of someone in the congregation who has graduated from any level of schooling, please contact the office so that we can include them in this celebration.

Summer Worship Schedule

Mark your calendars! Our summer worship services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of three weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before the weekend: June 27, August 1 and August 29. This means no Sunday services on June 30, August 4 and September 1. 

Opportunity to Send Newcomer Kids to Camp

The McIvor Missions Committee invites you to help send 14-16 newcomer children to Camp Arnes for the week of July 8-15. Financial donations designated Campership Fund are welcome. We are also looking for gently used sleeping bags. For any further information, please contact Colleen in the office.

2nd Annual McIvor Garden Tour – July 6, 10 a.m.

Our 2nd annual McIvor Garden Tour will take place July 6 at 10 a.m. That gives you plenty of time to plan your garden. Sign up here or in the foyer to include your garden on the tour and/or to participate in the tour. We can accommodate up to 8-10 gardens.
