Weekly Worship Service

Sunday at 10 a.m. we will be continuing with the second half of our 8-part series on Philippians with a sermon on Philippians 2:19-3:6 entitled Don’t Trust in Human Effort. Children ages 4-14 are invited to join us for Sunday School after the service.

Prayer Focus: Becoming Bridge Builders

Lord, help me to follow Jesus in bringing true peace to the world around me. Deliver me today from living a “false peace” by avoiding conflict and appeasing others out of fear. Give me courage to disrupt false peace around me when needed. Fill me with the love and humility of Jesus as I step out in faith to do this. Give me wisdom and prudence to discern how to proceed. Finally, grant me the inner authority, the clarity, and the grace to persevere as I follow You in being a true peacemaker today. Worship Team Opportunity – Tech Team

Would you like to be part of the McIvor Tech Team? Isaac will be giving a training session on June 11 at 7 p.m. at the church. Please contact the office if you are interested in learning to operate the visual components of our services.

Kids Ministry Opportunity

We are reaching children and youth in our church and the surrounding community in many different ways. As these ministries grow, we need to plan for the fall and we need more people to be part of the planning! As a church we need to pray for the future of the family ministry activities and the significance that they have in the lives and spiritual formation of families. If you are interested in being part of a conversation about family ministry, please contact Pastor Mikayla. A meeting of interested people will be held soon.

Promotion Sunday – June 23

On June 23 we want to celebrate with our Sunday School kids and graduates. If you know of someone in the congregation who has graduated from any level of schooling, please contact the office so that we can include them in this celebration.

Summer Worship Schedule

Mark your calendars! Our summer worship services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of three weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before the weekend: June 27, August 1 and August 29. This means no Sunday services on June 30, August 4 and September 1. 

2nd Annual McIvor Garden Tour – July 6

We are excited to announce that our 2nd annual McIvor Garden Tour will take place July 6! That gives you plenty of time to plan your garden. If you would like to include your garden in the tour, sign up will begin in June.
