Prayer Focus: Youth and Kids
Pray these verses over youth and kids in your life, keeping in mind our upcoming outreaches and ongoing ministries: Festive Family Fun Day, Kids Club, Youth, Sunday School and the Young Adult Worship Night.
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
“Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, ‘Life is not pleasant anymore.'” Ecclesiastes 12:1
“‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams.'” Acts 2:17
“Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.” 2 Timothy 2:22
Family News
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Ellie Dueck passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Friday, November 10. Please pray for her husband Bill and their family at this difficult time. May God’s presence be near to them and may they experience God’s peace and comfort in special ways. The funeral was held Saturday, November 16 and you may watch it here.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18
