On Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Robert Dean will begin a new series Kings, Prophets and Promise with a sermon entitled Who’s the Man? from 2 Samuel 11:1-5, 26-27; 12:1-10; Psalm 51:1-9. Sunday School will be offered following the service.

Elementary aged children and their parents, please meet at the back of the sanctuary.
Junior Youth (grades 6-8) will meet in the foyer outside the sanctuary. Parents are welcome to attend with their youth.

Counselling Services Coming in Fall – September 2026-April 2027

Meghan Fowler, a student in the Providence Theological Seminary’s Master of Counselling program, is completing her practicum in partnership with McIvor, under the supervision of licensed therapist, Carolyn O. Klassen, O.T. Reg. (MB), MAMFT. She is moving into therapy after years in church ministry as a pastor and worship director and holds an MA in Theological Studies from Regent College.

Meghan Fowler will be offering low-cost* counselling at McIvor MB Church until April, 2027. This is a wonderful opportunity for McIvor congregants to receive Christian counselling. Please contact the office if you are interested. Read more about Meghan and her approach to therapy here.

*Sessions are free for people who attend McIvor Mennonite Brethren Church. For those who do not attend McIvor, the fee is only $20 per session, which goes directly toward covering Meghan’s supervision fees. If cost is in any way a barrier for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Meghan about it. Please Note: For all clients, there is a $20 fee for sessions missed with less than 1 full business-day notice.

Pastor Sherryl will be away from October 17-25 as she celebrates her 65th birthday!
