Weekly Worship Service
Sunday at 10 a.m. Sherryl Koop will continue our series on Philippians, with a sermon on Philippians 1:12-26 entitled “Full of Hope”. There will be no Sunday School as we are holding our Spring Congregational Meeting and Lunch following the service. Please bring a dessert to share.
The 2024 Spring Report celebrating what God is doing in our midst is available here. Hard copies are also available at the Welcome Center.
Prayer Focus: Praying Paul’s Prayer
May our love overflow more and more, and may we keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. May we understand what really matters, so that we may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May we always be filled with the fruit of our salvation—the righteous character produced in our lives by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God. (adapted from Philippians 1:9-11)
Jonathan Klassen will begin his role as Teaching Pastor on May 15. Pray for Jon and Lynette and their family as they make the move to Winnipeg and as they join us here at McIvor.
Agnes Dyck and her family are grateful for your continued prayers last week as she continues to recover at home.
McIvor Hobby Show – May 26
We will be hosting a McIvor Hobby Show on May 26. If you are interested in showcasing your hobby and sharing your special interest with others, sign up with Tamira in the foyer. Let us know if you need a table or a space in the gym to set up your hobby. Feel free to demonstrate and allow others in the Church family to try your hobby for themselves.
Summer Worship Schedule
Mark your calendars! Our summer worship services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of three weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before the weekend: June 27, August 1 and August 29. This means no Sunday services on June 30, August 4 and September 1.
2nd Annual McIvor Garden Tour – July 6
We are excited to announce that our 2nd annual McIvor Garden Tour will take place July 6! That gives you plenty of time to plan your garden. If you would like to include your garden in the tour, sign up will begin in June.
