Weekly Worship Service

Sunday at 10 a.m. we will welcome John Neufeld, Provincial Director of the Mennonite Brethren Churches of Manitoba (MBCM) to continue our summer series, Summer in the Psalms, speaking on Psalm 71.

OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT AND SERVE

Pastoral Retreat Update – Pastor Jon

Thank you all for praying for our pastoral staff this week as we took a day of retreat for prayer and planning. We spent the day at the River Creek Retreat Centre, which provided a beautiful and relaxing environment.

This time of reflection gave me a strong sense of appreciation for our congregation–it’s an incredible blessing to be a part of such a loving and caring community. We began in prayer for our congregation, our council and our staff, and then moved into a time of reflection on the past year and discernment for the future. All three of us noted signs of love and fellowship and growth, evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in our church.

Thank you for allowing us the space to take this time of retreat. Please continue to pray for our church as we make further plans in the coming weeks.

Summer Worship Schedule – Thursday, August 28, 7 p.m.

In anticipation of the Labour Day long weekend, our final Thursday Summer Worship Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, followed by ice cream and fellowship. This means there will be no Sunday service on August 31.

55+ Walk and Talk – September 16, 9:30 a.m.

Join us at 55+ Walk and Talk…Enjoy the music of Castillos, bring a mug, snack and $5. See you there!
