Weekly Worship Service

Sunday at 10 a.m. as we celebrate the fourth Advent, Pastor Mikayla will conclude our series, Christmas According to Luke, with a sermon from Luke 2:1-20. Sunday School for children ages preschool to grade 5 will follow the service.

OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT AND SERVE

Blue Christmas – December 22, 7 p.m.

You are invited to a service of hope and healing this Christmas season. Are you tired, weary, heartbroken, or lonely? Join us as we reflect on God’s love through liturgy and music, with coffee and conversation to follow. Consider inviting one or two friends to join you! Invitations are available at the Info Center.

Christmas Eve Services – December 24

6 p.m. – The Unrehearsed Christmas Pageant – an interactive retelling of the Christmas story for the whole family

8 p.m. – Candlelight Service – a traditional candlelight service, with special music by John and Ruth

Tea Fundraiser for the Youth – January 19

We are inviting you to join us January 19th for a Tea Fundraiser to raise support towards our youth room renovations! There will be more details to come, but we are inviting the congregation to bring baked items for this event. There will be opportunities to bake for the general tea event, but we’re also looking for baking that will be sold at the bake sale table, alongside goodies made by our McIvor Youth! Contact Pastor Mikayla if you have questions, or plan to bring baking for either portion of the event!

Celebration Sunday – February 23

A Sunday to celebrate, with child dedication, baptisms and people officially joining McIvor as members. If you are interested, please speak to a pastor.

Winnipeg Mennonite School Hiring Grade 4 Teacher – Term

Winnipeg Mennonite School is eagerly hiring a Grade 4 Teacher (Term) at the Bedson Campus. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching the core curriculum in Grade 4. This maternity leave position ends June 30, 2025, with the possibility of a term extension until June 30, 2026, or until the incumbent returns.
