Sunday at 10 a.m. Sherryl Koop will continue the 8 week series, Luke: The Center of History, with a sermon on Luke 6:17-42 entitled, The Sermon on the Plain.

Bible Study Small Groups

Pastor Jon is organizing McIvor Bible study/small groups. If you are currently in a small group of some sort (even if it isn’t a ‘McIvor-only’ group), or would like to join one, please leave your info on the sign-up sheet in the foyer. If you’d like to join a committee for organizing and resourcing small groups, contact Pastor Jon.

Interest in Sound and/or Tech? – Thursday, 4-6 p.m.

Whether you are interested in serving sound and/or tech on Sundays, or if you are already serving on the team, Max Wiebe–an experienced sound and tech engineer at Jubilee Place, MBCI and owner of his own production company–is offering a series of training sessions to help resource and equip us. The first session will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Please contact Irmie.

Family Fun Day – February 16, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Pastoral Concerns and Needs

Pastor Kim is away and will return to the office on Tuesday, February 18. Pastor Jon is available for pastoral concerns and needs.

55+ Walk and Talk – February 18, 9:30-11 a.m.

Brian Dyck, brother of Bob Dyck, will speak about the ride-on tractor prototype they have built in Manitoba that can be replicated by folks in Africa. Come to hear about partnerships being forged in South Sudan, Nigeria, Uganda and kindness shown that will hopefully lead many to God.

15th Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival – February 18-23 at NKMB

The 15th annual Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival will be held February 18-23 at North Kildonan MB Church. Cool, clean, and compelling films – a great way for Christians to be encouraged in their faith and opportunity for those not yet saved to encounter the Gospel. We also feature talk back leaders at the end of film screenings to provide biblical reflection at the end of each film. See the program and schedule. Mennonite Brethren Christian Elementary School – Accepting Applications

Mennonite Brethren Christian Elementary School, located at North Kildonan MB Church, is a Christ-centred, Bible based school adhering to the MB confession of faith. They are now accepting applications for kindergarten through to grade 2. Contact Paul H. Boge, Board Chair, for more information.
