OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT AND SERVE
Tea Fundraiser for the Youth – January 19

Join us January 19 for a Tea Fundraiser to raise support towards our youth room renovations! There will be more details to come, but we are inviting the congregation to bring baked items for this event. There will be opportunities to bake for the general tea event, but we are also looking for baking that will be sold at the bake sale table, alongside goodies made by our McIvor Youth! Contact Pastor Mikayla if you have questions, or plan to bring baking for either portion of the event!

Celebration Sunday – February 23

If you are interested in baptism, or formal church membership, please talk to one of the pastors before January 15th. Celebration Sunday will be February 23. Child dedication is also available. For more information, please talk to Pastor Kim.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thank you! – from the Pastoral Team, Kim, Jon and Mikayla

The pastoral team would like to thank the many volunteers who helped make all of our services and activities in December, especially our Christmas Eve so special!  Many people gave of themselves so generously and we appreciate it!

Update from Council

Council is notifying the congregation that Kim returned to 0.7 FTE on January 1, as requested when she returned as Lead Pastor. Her job description as Lead Pastor has not changed, because she temporarily used the extra 0.3 to help Jon transition into his job as Teaching Pastor.

Her job will remain flexible regarding hours, so that if one week she is busy, she will take time another week. She will generally work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and sometimes Fridays. She will be contacted for any medical emergencies or deaths if she isn’t in the office.

Otherwise, people can leave phone messages or emails and Kim will respond as soon as she is able. If she is on vacation, Jon would handle medical crises or deaths, or Mikayla, if neither of them is available. Jon and Mikayla will continue in their jobs as defined when hired.
