Weekly Worship Service

Sunday at 10 a.m. we will continue our summer series, Summer in the Psalms. Pastor Jon will speak on Psalm 15.

OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT AND SERVE

Help Send Kids to Camp – August 11-16

The McIvor Missions Committee invites you to help send 11 kids to Camp Arnes Augus 11-16t. Financial donations designated “Campership Fund” are welcome. We also welcome good used water bottles and beach towels. We have received enough sleeping bags. Thank you to all who have already contributed. Contact Colleen in the office for more information.

Youth Water Night – July 30, 7-9 p.m.

All youth are invited to join us for a water night at McIvor, where we will play outdoor games, have snacks, chat and likely get soaked! Bring a towel and clothes that can get wet. We hope to see you there! See details here.

Praying for our Youth – Prayer Cards Available at the Information Centre

Please pray for our Youth, Youth Leaders and for the continued work of the Holy Spirit in their lives throughout the summer. You can pick up prayer cards at the Information Centre, outlining ways to pray for the ministry, including specific requests that individual youth have made related to their concerns for their futures, relationships, fears, for healing, protection…You can also see their prayer requests consolidated here. Thank you for investing in their lives through the powerful, effective act of praying for them! May these verses from Psalm 30:11-12 be their stories:

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,

that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!”

Live Stream Challenges

Due to the recent challenges with the live stream, we will be uploading the recording following the service, rather than live-streaming. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work on finding solutions to provide a high quality live stream.

Summer Worship Schedule

Mark your calendars! Our summer worship services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of long weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before: July 31 and August 28. This means there will be no Sunday services on August 3 and August 31.
