June 1, 2026 - This Week at McIvor

Sunday at 10 a.m. we will gather together for our worship service and Pastor Jon will continue with Stories From Scripture, speaking from Ruth 2:1-23; Luke 6:36-38 with a sermon entitled Gleaning and Hope.

Sunday School for children ages preschool through grade 5 will be offered following the service.

McIvor Coffeehouse Volunteers

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our Sunday morning coffeehouse team. If you enjoy serving others, connecting with great people, and being part of a fun, welcoming environment, this is for you.

No experience needed–full Barista training is provided. You’ll serve once a month and pick up valuable skills along the way.

Come be part of a ministry that helps create a warm and inviting space for our church family each week. If you are interested, contact Luke or send a message to 204.451.9902.

Summer Worship Schedule

Mark your calendars! Our summer worship services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of the three long weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before: July 2, July 30 and September 3. This means there will be no Sunday services on July 5, August 2 and September 6.

Counselling Services Coming in Fall – September 2026-April 2027

Meghan Fowler, a student in the Providence Theological Seminary’s Master of Counselling program has asked to complete her practicum in partnership with our church. Her services will be available from September 2026 to mid-April 2027. Council believes that this is a wonderful opportunity for McIvor congregants to seek Christian counselling during this period.

Save the Date: McIvor’s 50th Anniversary – October 3-4, 2026

We are excited to celebrate McIvor’s 50th Anniversary this fall! Please save the dates of October 3 and 4. Further details will be forthcoming, but a dinner will be included on Saturday night.
