Practical Love, Support and Prayer

As Katia and Neil enter a challenging season, we, as friends, family, and community, would like to support them by providing meals over the course of a few weeks. Please consider signing up for a meal or two to support them.

Help Send Kids to Camp Arnes

You may have heard that we have the opportunity to help send children to camp who might not otherwise be able to go. As always, the people of McIvor have responded generously and we have almost covered our portion of the camp and bus fees. We are still looking for donations such as gently used beach towels, pillows, mosquito spray and water bottles. Please see the display in the front foyer and contact Colleen for more details.

Summer Services

This summer our services will be held on Sunday mornings, with the exception of three weekends. Prior to each long weekend, the worship service will be held at 7 p.m. on the Thursday before the weekend: June 29, August 3 and August 31. This means no Sunday services on July 2, August 6 and Sept. 3. 

Security People Needed

The church gets rental requests quite often and all of these rentals require a security person. We need people who are willing to do church security for these rentals. Security people are paid $20 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. If you are interested, please contact the church office for more information.

Church Alarm Codes

For all of those who currently have a church key and an alarm code please note that all alarm codes will be deleted and we will be starting fresh with new codes for those who currently have one and who still require one. If you are in need of an alarm code, please register with the church office and a new one will be assigned to you.
