Volunteer Opportunity: McIvor Friendship Potluck Supper – monthly, beginning April 3
Prior to the covid mandates, McIvor had an outreach and fellowship meal called Finder’s Feast. It was a church potluck meal, well attended by the congregation and people from the community.
Church Council has decided to revive the monthly potluck supper, calling it the McIvor Friendship Supper. Harvest, Razorback and Kids’ Club families, as well as our neighbourhood community will be invited to join us. This will be a McIvor potluck and we are not expecting our guests to bring anything.
The Food Committee has endorsed this project, but to make this happen, we need you to come and bring soup for 10-12 people (preferably in a Crockpot).
Additionally we will need two teams, each to serve bi-monthly. Each team would be made up of two Food Committee members and three volunteers for various kitchen duties, as well as table/chair takedown and dishwasher duties after the supper.
We will host the first supper on April 3, with May 8 and June 12 as the next scheduled suppers. It will be a come and go between 5 and 6:30 p.m.Let’s reach out to the families in our midst and invite them to join us at McIvor! Contact Ron for information and to sign up.

Used Couches for Youth Room?
The Youth Room renovation is well underway and we are casting the net to see if anyone is willing to donate used couches to go into our space. If you’ve been wanting to get rid of a couch for a while, we would love to consider taking it off your hands. We ask that you send a photo and dimensions to Pastor Mikayla, to ensure it will fit in the space. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this process so far!
