Weekly Worship Service

Join us Sunday at 10 a.m. for our weekly Worship Service. We will welcome Dr. Cheryl Pauls, President of Canadian Mennonite University, as our guest speaker. Her sermon is entitled Joy as Resilience – Living as those who Dream from Psalm 126 and Romans 8:18-25.

Following the service, there will be an interactive conversation with Cheryl, where she will lead us in a conversation about Keeping the Faith Over Time, Through the Church and its Ministries and Organizations. Sunday School for children preschool to grade 5 will also resume.

Our MB Church of Man i toba conference is connected to CMU and many in our church family have taken classes and/or graduated from CMU including both Pastor Kim and Pastor Mikayla.

OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT AND SERVE

2nd Annual McIvor Hobby Show – March 23, 2 p.m.

The second annual McIvor Hobby Show is coming up on Sunday, March 23, at 2 p.m. Anyone wanting to show, teach, or display a hobby should see Tamira in the foyer for the next two weeks. You can also email Tamira to ask questions and clarify your needs.

Added to the hobby show, we will have our own Folklorama! Anyone wanting to share their travel experiences can also set up a station. All we need to know is what to set up, tables, chairs etc.

Delegates for MBCM Assembly 2025 – March 7, 10 a.m. to March 8, 4 p.m. in Morden

Join with our Manitoba MB churches in worship, community, Bible teaching with Ken Esau, reporting and hear how God is working in and through our churches! If you would like to be a McIvor delegate, please register here and contact the office as the church will help cover the cost of accommodations.

Pastor Mikayla is on vacation and will be back in the office March 18.

Used Couches for Youth Room?

The Youth Room renovation is well underway and we are casting the net to see if anyone is willing to donate used couches to go into our space. If you’ve been wanting to get rid of a couch for a while, we would love to consider taking it off your hands. We ask that you send a photo and dimensions to Pastor Mikayla, to ensure it will fit in the space. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this process so far!

Please note that the “overflow” area is already being used for Youth and Young Adults and can no longer serve as a storage area. Thanks for your understanding.

Mennonite Brethren Christian Elementary School – Accepting Applications

Mennonite Brethren Christian Elementary School, located at North Kildonan MB Church, is a Christ-centred, Bible based school adhering to the MB confession of faith. They are now accepting applications for kindergarten through to grade 2. Contact Paul H. Boge, Board Chair, for more information.

Steinbach Bible College Dessert Night Fundraiser – March 22, 7 p.m.
