Sunday at 10 a.m. we will gather together for our worship service and Pastor Pierre will continue with Stories From Scripture, speaking from Acts 2:1-21; Philippians 4:4-7; John 14:16-17 with a sermon entitled Rejoice in the Lord.
Sunday School for ages preschool through grade 5 will be offered following the service.
Adult Education: The final session of Excursions into the Torah with Pastor Pierre will be offered following the service. If you missed previous sessions, you can watch them here.

55+ Walk and Talk Pizza Lunch – Tuesday, 10:30 a.m.
Come celebrate Ascension Day with a reflection, singing and pizza lunch. Bring $5 and a dessert to share.
3rd Annual McIvor Hobby and Car Show – Sunday, 2-4:30 p.m.
McIvor’s 3rd annual Hobby and Car Show is this Sunday! Join with our community, discover new hobbies and see some great cars and motorcycles! Please bring a snack to share.
Please contact Tamira as soon as possible about displaying your collections or your work: quilts, stitched pieces, items you have built, sports you have learned, activities that keep you engaged in ideas or movements. We are also interested in your cars or motorcycles. If you are sharing a hobby, set up will begin after the Worship Service until 2 p.m.
Community Supper BBQ – May 28, 5-6:30 p.m.
All are welcome Thursday from 5-6:30 p.m. for our Community Supper BBQ. Harvest, Razorback and Kids Club families are invited to join us for this come and go style dinner. We are askingpeople to bring a potato salad, green salad, or veggie platter. We are also looking for volunteers to help with table and chair set up/take down and/or light kitchen duties, please sign up in the church foyer, or contact Ron.
Outdoor Family Activities – May 28, 6:30-7:45 p.m.
We are partnering with our Kids Club program in hosting outdoor family activities at 6:30 p.m. for all ages following the Community Supper BBQ.
Worship Service May 31 with Steve Bell
On May 31 we will welcome Steve Bell, who will lead worship and provide a mini concert during our service.
Spring Congregational Meeting – May 31, 11:15 a.m.
Our Spring Congregational Meeting on May 31 following the Worship Service will include recognition for all the volunteers who serve so faithfully in our church. The meeting will be followed by lunch together. Spring Reports are available here or at the Information Centre.
Recommendation from Council
To date we do not have a suitable candidate for our Lead Pastor position. Therefore Council is recommending that we extend Sherryl’s term position to December 31, 2026, with an approved leave during July and August. We will be voting on this recommendation at the Spring Congregational Meeting on May 31.

McIvor Coffeehouse Volunteers
We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our Sunday morning coffeehouse team. If you enjoy serving others, connecting with great people, and being part of a fun, welcoming environment, this is for you.
No experience needed–full Barista training is provided. You’ll serve once a month and pick up valuable skills along the way.
