Weekly Worship Service
Sunday at 10 a.m. Pastor Jon will continue our new series, 1 Samuel: Who Is Your King?, speaking from 1 Samuel 4:1-7:17 with a sermon entitled Whose God Is This?. Read more about the sermon series. Sunday School for children aged preschool to grade 5 will follow the service.
Condolences to Erma Peters and her Family
Tuesday, October 29, Lloyd Peters passed away suddenly at St. Boniface hospital at 91 years old. He and his wife, Erma, of 68 years were residents at Donwood in the Personal Care Home. A Memorial Service will be at McIvor Church on December 20 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow and interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Let’s pray for Erma as she grieves. Erma is grateful for the support that she is receiving from the staff at Donwood. Read more.

Help Kids’ Club Flourish! – Wednesdays, 7 p.m.
Thank you to all the volunteers who have already signed up to help make our midweek Kids’ Club happen again this year. We are still looking for at least one more volunteer to help one Wednesday a month to ensure the program can run to its fullest potential. Please speak to Monica Friesen if you would be willing to help this ministry flourish.
55+ Walk and Talk Christmas Advent Lunch, featuring The B-Side Apostles – December 5, 12 p.m.
55+ Walk and Talk is once again hosting a Christmas Advent Lunch, featuring The B-Side Apostles on December 5. This is a catered turkey dinner and entertainment. Tickets ($25) are only available in advance and may be purchased most Sundays in the foyer.

Steve Bell Concert–November 15, 7:30 p.m., Burton Cummings Theatre
Christian singer-songwriter Steve Bell will be performing in Winnipeg with his band (featuring special guest pianist Mike Janzen) on Friday, November 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Burton Cummings Theatre, 364 Smith St. The concert is celebrating his 23rd album release, The Glad Surprise. Christmas Carol Concert and Sing-Along – One Hope Canada – December 7, 4 p.m.
Usher in the Christmas season in support of One Hope Canada during a very special Christmas Carol Concert and Sing-Along, featuring music director Howard Bredin and special guests The Chapel Brass Band and Male Chorus at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church (570 Sharon Bay South). The evening will also feature stories of how One Hope Canada is sharing the love of Jesus with children, youth and families. Admission is free, with an opportunity to support this work and ministry via a free-will offering.
