Weekly Worship Service

Sunday, September 15 at 10 a.m. Henry Bergmann will continue our series, Hebrews: Jesus is Greater, speaking from Hebrews 2:5-3:6 with a sermon entitled We Do See Jesus. 

Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at five passages from Hebrews that draw our attention to the greatness of Jesus. To see all things summed up in Christ and to hear the Old Testament as the Word of God to us today is where we hope that Hebrews will take us. Read more

We are recognizing Doris Goertz who is retiring after many years of service as a missionary. Doris will share in the service and there will be cake and coffee after the service.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Theo Dyck and Carine Bado on their recent engagement! They are planning for a September 2025 wedding. Let’s pray for them as they prepare to be married.

Kids’ Club and Youth – Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Kids’ Club and Youth will be kicking things off on Wednesday at 7 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering with our midweek Kids’ Club this fall, there is a sign up sheet available on Sundays where you can indicate which week and in which capacity you would like to help. Contact Monica if you have questions.

55+ Walk and Talk – September 17, 9:30 a.m.

Join us for the first 55+ Walk and Talk of the fall! Julian Hudson will present some music and commentary. Bring your mug, a snack and hum along!

Sunday School Launch – September 22, following the service

With the re-establishment of our CEC Committee, we are expanding our Sunday School offerings this fall and exploring some new formats. We have created two Sunday School classes:

• Preschool and Kindergarten Class – Located in the Preschool Play Area behind the Sanctuary, it will begin immediately following the service. If your child is already in Supervised Playtime, there is no need to pick them up. If they are in the service, please drop them off in the play area following the Benediction. 
• Grade 1-5 Class – This will be located in the newly rebranded Kids’ Chapel downstairs (formerly The Garage). We have a variety of teachers this year, so please bring your kids to the doors at the back of the Sanctuary to meet the teacher, or you can bring them downstairs yourself if you prefer.
