COMMUNITY NEWS
Thank You To Festive Family Fun Day Volunteers

Thanks to everyone who helped out with the Family Fun Day last Sunday. It was a great afternoon spent making connections with those in our community!

Prayer for Gerry and Joanne Hildebrand

Thank you so much for your prayers for Gerry and Joanne Hildebrand. Joanne has just finished her third round of chemo and has one more round before Christmas. She’s experienced improved energy and good appetite, but limited stamina. So they’re measuring their engagements. They covet your prayers for strength and good outcomes, and thank you for standing with them during this time.

Family Photos for the Church Directory – THIS SUNDAY

Many of you have updated your Realm profile photo, or have had your photo taken by Pastor Mikayla and it will be updated shortly. We also want to provide you with a Phone Directory that includes photos. If you have not already done so, please send the office a couple/family photo that you would like included. Pastor Mikayla will also be available THIS Sunday after the service to take a photo for you. Thank you for your cooperation!

Community Supper – December 4, 5-6:30 p.m.

All are welcome on Thursday, December 4 from 5-6:30 p.m. for our next Community Supper. Harvest, Razorback and Kids Club families have been invited to join us for a come and go style supper. If you are willing to bring a side dish for turkey dinner, or volunteer to help with table and chair set up/take down and/or light kitchen duties, please sign up in the church foyer, or contact Ron

We are also partnering with our Kids Club program to provide family activities from 6:30-7:45 p.m. for all ages! Come ready to meet and engage with our community! This is an important work that McIvor is called to do.

Adult Education – Winsome Conviction Part 4 – December 14, 11:10 a.m.

The Adult Education Class, Winsome Conviction: Disagreeing without Dividing the Church, a video series by Dr. Rick Langer, will conclude December 14 after the service with Part 4. If you need to catch up, you can watch Session 1, Session 2 or Session 3.

Recent times have shown us that Christians across denominations, and even within individual churches, have significant disagreements on things that really matter. This polarizing effect demonstrates that we don’t know how to disagree well, leaving many feeling like they need to choose between having convictions, or having unity.

Dr. Langer is hopeful for a better way, in which Christians hold strong and well-formed convictions, and disagreeing well can be a catalyst for deeper fellowship and unity among and within churches.

EAL Volunteer Opportunity – Thursdays, 10 a.m., beginning January 8, 2026

Our EAL (English as Another Language) Classes are going very well and we are in need of a childcare volunteer for two infants for our new session starting in January 2026. Please contact the office for more details.
