Weekly Worship Service
On Sunday at 10 a.m. we will begin the Advent season with the series An Invitation to Life. Pastor Jon will preach a sermon entitled Peace–The Power of Life, from Daniel 3:1-30; John 18:36-37.
Sunday School for children ages preschool to grade 5 will follow the service, as will Adult Education, as we resume Winsome Conviction: Disagreeing without Dividing the Church, Part 3, a video series by Dr. Rick Langer. If you are behind, you can catch up and watch Session 1 or Session 2.
Adult Education – Winsome Conviction Part 3 – Sunday, 11:10 a.m.
Recent times have shown us that Christians across denominations, and even within individual churches, have significant disagreements on things that really matter. This polarizing effect demonstrates that we don’t know how to disagree well, leaving many feeling like they need to choose between having convictions, or having unity.
Dr. Langer is hopeful for a better way, in which Christians hold strong and well-formed convictions, and disagreeing well can be a catalyst for deeper fellowship and unity among and within churches.
